Yes. Thunderstorms don't always relieve you of the heat and humidity.

By the ocean at NY's Jones Beach, it's cool. The water temperature is in the mid 60s, so when the wind blows over the ocean, by the time it reaches the sand, the wind feels like a friend. Away from the ocean, it's still hot and humid.
