Does anyone live there now? Or have you lived there before? I was thinking of moving down that way and wanted to hear people's opinions who have actually experienced living there.

Even on this forum many Greeks use offensive names and images to describe Albanians and Macedonians and all they get is many thumbs ups from the like minded.

I thought Greece was meant to be a mordern country (like the rest of the EU) where racism is frowned upon

looking into maybe purchasing a home out in the Salton Sea and would like some back round on the area. I would like some pictures of the area as well as know how far it is from Las Vegas and what road would I take to get there. How is the High Schools and Jr. High. Do they have a community college near by? How big and fast is this city growing? How far is it from Temecula? Thank you very much for your help

My answer? Yes. Resistance to any other culture, ideas, or open-mindedness, to me, is a mental disorder. Face it, Conservatism is not the mainstream ideology in America nd they need to face reality. They like to shove their religion, so-called Morals (they practice something called "selective morality), and bogus family values down everyone's throats.

You have freedom of speech, but you don't deserve special rights, and you don't have the freedom to force your belief system down our throats. You have the right to your religion, the right to express you opinion, you have the right to do whatever you want, but you dont have the right to dictate people on how to live their life, and you don't have the right to force others to follow your brand of morality (orwhatever the hell you call it).

Thinking of moving to a "real" city. Have two options- San Diego and Boston. Which of these two has a real city life? Which is a better city to live in? Thanks!

I've read comments about how unbelievably hot it can be in Las Vegas during the summer (August in particular). I'm so bad with subjective things like that. I live in Chicago...can someone who is familiar with summer in Chicago please compare it to the Las Vegas heat, so I can better understand?

I am going to Vegas soon and am a relatively new driver. I do not currently have a car - and therefore do not have insurance.

If I were to rent a car (staying with a relative not on the strip) is that a bad idea? What are the odds of getting into an accident there? (not my fault - others)

Really can't afford to replace a rental car if it gets damaged - but I really want to be able to drive around the strip etc.

I am leaving for an eight day trip to Cancun tomorrow and I was wondering if I should bring water. My hotel provides water daily in the room to guest, but should I bring additional clean water?

My wife and I want to take our 4 year old to Disney World and stay at a Disney resort (Animal Kingdom) this summer. Is there a good website besides Disney that has deals on this type trip? I have looked at Disney's site and I can't help but imagine there is a site out there somewhere, or a travel agent, that can help us get the same trip at a better price.

Got our first trip to New York planned for this summer. Hotel is already booked. We're staying one block away from the ESB and just down the road from Mad. Sqr. Garden. My question is, how do you understand the subway lines? Is there a line that will take us from say, the ESB directly to Yankee Stadium to see the game and then back again? I see that certain lines operate at certain hours, but all the research I've been trying to do on it is making my head spin. It appears we are to use the green line to get to most places, but is it line 4, 5 or 6? Also, is there a direct line to the Statue of Liberty and WTC sight? I'm hoping we don't have to do transfers. If any of these are in decent walking distance, that is fine to. The last thing I want to do is end up in the wrong part of town because I took the wrong line. Looking forward to seeing this great city I hear so much about.

Hi All!

Just wondering what the shows were like and did you enjoy them? My hubby and I are in the beginning stages of starting to plan a cruise and we really enjoy comedy. My husband and I are somewhat conservative on what we like to listen too. Is the comedy appropriate? We are really looking forward to this. Thanks!

So I live in Boston, MA and there's a rumor going around thru town that the Charlie pass, which is like a 'metro card', are based on some racist means. I don't know much that's why I'm asking to seek clarification.
