on princess cruise lines they have a camera on the ship and you can watch the camera at any time and see wehre they are at
it's kinda cool.

Some cruise lines have web cams that show their position, or rather what you would see off the front of the ship. But these do not in many cases give you much information as many simply say cruising the Caribbean toward "xxx"

When you are on ship there is a channel on the TV's that showing the position of the ship and how far it has traveled and by what route. It also has the wind speed and perhaps the ocean depth. But that type detail is not available on-line.
