What are the best bars in Boston?

I am visiting Boston for Memorial Day weekend and am going to the game on monday. I know I have to Cask n' Flagan, but before that, I just want a blue collar, not crowded, NO YUPPIES, bar.

If you don't want a crowded bar, avoid the entire Fenway district during Sox games-home or away. However, if you're going to be in Fenway anyway, I'd recommend Beer Works on Brookline.

Also, in Allston there's Sunset Grille & Tap on Brighton Ave. It has something like 112 beers on tap. Yum.

You can take the B green line on the T to both areas. Kenmore Sq for Beer Works and Harvard Ave for Sunset Grille (NOT Harvard Sq on the red line. If you don't want pretense, avoid Harvard Sq all together.)

Everything right around Fenway will be crowded before the game, so you'll need to go somewhere else and then get to Fenway before hand. If you don't care about the crowd, then go to The Baseball Tavern, which is across the street from Fenway which is one of the best bars in the area (and the opposite of the Cask, which I am not too fond of overall). . Otherwise, travel to other parts of the city to avoid the crowds and maybe go to some places around the Banknorth Garden, like The Harp or something like that.
