I am moving, definitly, on August 4th this year. I know that i want palm trees, beaches, good weather, a good overall atmosphere, and preferrably low crime rate. I also need the area to be affordable, $700 a month for rent... Based on experiences, where is the best place to live based on what i want?

i live in connecticut and my grandmother is in texas. she has been hospitalized after having a stroke since valentines day and just today, she suffered a massive stroke in the hospital that has left her pretty much in a coma... my aunt is going to send her to hospice in a couple of days... its so sad because she was doing so well and they were looking at some nice rehab places... i need to go down there but am truly broke... does anyone have any ideas on how i can get a plane ticket for a decent rate round trip from wednesday the 21st to saturday the 24th?

I have been checking the prices of various modes of travel. It looks like taking the Eurostar through the Chunnel will cost just over $100 per person as will taking a ferry across. I am guessing that flying would cost the same or more. Please! Does anyone have cost efficient ways to do this?!?! Thank you very much!

We are planning a holiday to Vietnam in August this year. We are mid age, but enjoy doing our own thing. This is the itineary we have come with, talking to travel agents, reading guide books etc.
