In Maarten that's the dutch side, St Martin is the french side. We stayed on the dutch side in October at the Royal Palm. It was very nice. The beaches are beautiful on both sides. Food is yummy all over both sides.

Hotel: I stayed here years ago and it was absolutely beautiful and the service was great. My only compaint was that they were persistant about trying to sell me thier timeshares.
