i'm getting married in Dallas, TX in june, but live in Maryland. How would i take my wedding dress with me on the flight?

I would suggest getting a really good garment bag and then once at the airport speak with the agent at the gate and explain your situation - they should then be able to hang the dress in the coat area (they always have one for the first class passengers,and I am sure there is room). You should be able to carry it on the plane and hang it in the closet. Put it in a garmet bag. Most people would be sympathetic to that. Plus how would you feel if your dress got lost while checked? Do anything you can to avoid checking it.

confident I did, international flights. I intently wrapped the dress in a cardboard container that suits the carry-on requirement length, and used bubble wrap interior to pad it. you like it form of comfortable interior the container, so it doesnt slide around and wrinkle itself. additionally you like it in a tricky container or suitcase, no longer a comfortable duffle, so no longer something can punch it. This labored completely for me, and it grow to be plenty much less confusing to hold for the duration of the airport and immigration, etc. you are able to desire to hold it in a garment bag, yet thats a discomfort to hold for the duration of the airport and that i difficulty it might get smashed interior the little closet interior the airplane.

I'm a travel agent. Typically if you carry it on board and the flight attendants have a closet you can hang it in. Put it in a garment bag and carry it on. However, it is first come first serve.

don't bring it. buy or rent one from Dallas. your dress will get ruin if u carry it in the flight.
