Once in Mystic, CT, would you recommend taking US 1/SR 27 to Pawcatuck then reconnecting with I 78 south? I'm trying to avoid as much construction as possible.

I knew a couple a few years ago, who would go on mini-vacations five or six times a year, and two week long vacations every year, for practically free! They would go to Charleston, SC., Myrtle Beach, Disneyworld, even Russia and Italy! All they had to do was participate in a 90 min-2 hour tour of a resort. Food and drinks were always provided during these tours and then when you were done, the rest of the vacation is all yours to enjoy. Is this a scam? And if not, where do I get more info??

(trust me, it really isn't THAT exciting). I would just like you to shed some light on the subject, why would you want to leave your massive country, with such diverse 'culture' etc to come here to England?

I'm trying to go to Octoberfest. I can find plane fare for ~$400 but it requires a 7 hour layover in Amsterdam (which is probably not enough time to do anything in Amsterdam)

Me and my daughter would love to go and I feel so silly i have no clue where it is! And I need to let you all know that it would be a definite "DREAM" cause lord knows I could not afford it, but it is nice to dream!!! my daughter and me do that alot, we pretend what we would do if we won the lottery, and the most popular thing with me and my daughter is open a grocery store for homeless people, so that no one would have to go hungry especially children. I am proud to say that this idea comes from a 12yrd and first and I agree with her100%!!!!! I must have done something right in her up bringing!!! THANK JESUS for the chance!!!!

It's a tour guide service that really cheap and lets ppl travel wherever they want. Just want to know if anybody has traveled with this group and if everything went okay with it. I mean, was there any extra hidden charges or did something go wrong on your trip that would cause you not to recomend it?
Any other travel groups perhaps?

I have moved to the area relatively recently and looking for things to do and see on the weekend within driving distance. I have been to the Lake of the Ozarks and Denver, CO. Anything in Kansas, Arkansas, or Oklahoma worth checking out?

I am a Natwest customer. A friend in the USA owes me quite a lot of money after we were vacationing together and her cards and passport were stolen and I had to fund her for several days and buy a passport. We are trying to work out a way for her to pay the money without being charged a load for it. I know Western Union would be quick but they would charge her 10% fee and paypal would charge me to accept the payment. Any ideas appreciated.

Trying to get donations for my church bazaar. This is the only fundraiser it has all year. We live in a community of 650 people and it is hard to raise money. So if I can get donations for the LIVE auctions maybe we can bring in more from our community. Need help. What can I do? It benefits the religion classes and the church building with maintenance and grounds. It has a Hall and 2 parks to maintain....Any suggestions?
