Recently climbed Mount Kinabalu in Borneo Malaysia. I think its the highest mountain in the world that you can climb without specialised equipment.....I could be wrong about that but it is very high 4095m.

Actually, an adventure holiday in Sabah or Sarawak, Malaysia may be just the thing, jungle trekking, SCUBA diving, mountaineering. The prices are reasonable and people friendly and helpful and everything is very easy to do....

I'm not in sales I promise. I went to Borneo this summer not knowing what to expect and it was fantastic. Full of adventure. Would recommend it to anyone. Food is wonderful.

We just picked places on the map, hopped onto the local busses and really got to see how life is. Terrific.

I did climb a mountain once and it wasn't until i reached the top that i found out that i had left my experience back in the car, which was a tadge annoying because had i remembered it i would have worn sensible shoes and taken some Kendal Mint Cake. My advice is best to have experience with you, it's much safer.
