and what is the average temperature in April?

I live very near to Charleston and the temperature in April is usually in the 70's or so. This website will give you lots of ideas for things to do. Almost anytime is a good time to visit. However, if you don't like heat, generally avoid July/Aug/Sept. although our beaches are great.

I live an hour away from there in Beaufort,SC. I think Charleston is a great place to visit any time.

April will be somewhat tolerable than any month after that,right up to October.It stays so hot there.I dont know if Florida can top the heat in Charleston.I have been there when they had heat advisorys for people to stay in.

Late November. I've been to nearby Savannah around Thanksgiving and I loved it. If you like it a little chilly at night, it's ideal.
