I am currently based in Southern China, where I live pretty well on around 20USD a day. I live in a very beautiful part of the countryside, with lots of opportunities for biking, swimming and climbing. This is a small tourist town so there is a good selection of food, both local and western as well as some bars and plenty of interesting tourists passing through, with whom I can make friends. There are lots of wireless hotspots and transportation back to the regional hub is a just a convenient overnight train ride away. Ideally I am looking for a similar kind of location to spend the winter.

Once I felt like I was on a roller coaster, the wings were flapping wildly, we all had to remain seated even though people frightened were calling the flight attendents, they were unble to assist due to the risk of getting hurt, people vomiting, very loud noises from the aircraft. It lasted 45 minutes and were the most frightening of my life.

I recently graduated with an undergraduate degree, and plan on moving to Montréal, Québec to both experience the city and be able to speak French on a daily basis, before starting law school the following year. However, I don't know what area of Montréal is best! Can anyone give me any advice in terms of the best areas to rent an apartment?
Merci d'avance! Any good advice would be greatly appreciated... and 10 points would be given quickly.

I asked this in the Japan subsection of the Travel section, but no one there even understood what a cruise was.

I have not yet been to Japan, but I always hear about how expensive it is. Since Japan is a set of islands whose major cities are ports, would a cruise of Japan be a cheaper alternative to land based hotels? (I realize this may sacrifice some of the exposure to Japanese culture.)

I have been studying about Brazil, & was surprized how you all have the largset Japanese immigrant population, are self sufficient on oil (via Ethanol), & about your strong economy that attracts immigrants from around the world. I knew you had lots of quantity (5th in population & land) but your impressive in other ways too.

My father just told us that he wants to quit his job this Feburary, sell the house, RV around the country from April-July, and then move somewhere new. I don't know what to think!!! I am so scare, and nevrous. We are not sure if we are going to do it, but normally when he gets an idea we do it. What is it like to RV? There is going to be my parents, my little brother, 11, and me, 14. Can you tell me if you like it or if you hate it? Do you get an "me" time? Please just tell em what you can, and maybe I will not be so scared.

I knew we should not have let my dad watch "RV"! LOL
