Hi,

I went to Cuba a few months ago and loved it. The beaches were beautiful the people were very friendly and we stayed at a great resort. My friend's husband is very much against taking a vacation in Cuba as it is a communist country and he says if you go there you are supporting communism. Is he right? I guess I never really thought about it before. I was thinking of going back in a few years but now I'm not sure. Any advice?

I am getting a flight to heathrow from glasgow but need to get nearer tonbridge as I dont want my mate to have to drive all the way I want to do this the cheapest way possible. Wife and I would like to go somewhere in Mexico for our 10 year next spring. I think we were planning on something in the April/May timeframe. We are on somewhat of a tight budget, Is $2500 -$3000 sufficient assuming we live in an area with reasonably priced flights to Mexico?

Looking primarily for recommendations on what areas in Mexico we should be targeting and then possibly what beach and/or accommodations. We would prefer that it be romantic and intimate and not be crawling with kids. Would also like someplace that is not too conservative with dress code if you catch my drift.

Bonus points for anyone who can relate personal experiences in this matter and/or provide links that I can research.

I have this STAR Alliance Round the World ticket and my flights within Brazil this August 3 Sao Paolo to Rio de Janeiro and onward 8Aug Rio to Sao Paolo onward to Miami are cancelled, it says that flights are not operating! I am here in the Middle East and there is no VARIG agent here and agents here are not aware of what's going on at Varig. Is there some kind of airline strike or something?
