You have a 50/50 chance of them not being crowded!! I have an annual pass, and in the 'winter' it is a lot less crowded than it is in the summer months. I would say, with it being the week before Christmas that it will not be crowded, or there will be less of a crowd.

As you get closer to Xmas, that is when more people come. Went to the Magic Kingdom on New Years Eve last year, and it was CRAZY!!!! I have never seen so many people. It was like being in a can of sardines... really! (Minus the smell!). I have also been to Disney the day after Xmas, and it wasn't too bad then. Just depends I suppose!

The weather will be wonderful! We love to go in Nov/Dec because that is really the only time we can walk around the park and enjoy hot chocolate! It will be cool. You may need to bring a sweatshirt or sweater.

That's around the time we like Disney best. The first part of that week is about the least crowded you can find the parks. The last day or two the crowds will start to pick up as the holiday guests start coming in, although it's usually not too bad until the 23rd.

Personally, I'd do most of my park-hopping early in the week and use the last bit for seeing the Christmas decorations and events in the resorts and shopping at Downtown Disney. That way you'd miss most of the growing crowds. If you are in the parks those last couple of days, Epcot and the Studios will be your best bet. The Studios is seldom crowded in December - even during the holiday season - and Epcot is never as crowded as the Magic Kingdom at Christmas (although the Candlelight Processional can be a mob scene those last couple of days. If you're planning to see that, do it EARLY, or else get one of the dinner packages that includes reserved seating. Otherwise you'll be standing in line for hours and still may not get in.)

The weather will be enjoyable, I'm sure. I've been in November and it was beautiful. The crowds will be ridiculous... it's Christmas-time... attendance will be at the maximum. I'd go though. Walt Disney World is worth it, anytime, no matter how bad the crowds are. I go in August a lot, which has one of the highest attendance records, but I still love it. There's crazy crowds, but there's so much to do, it's hard for me to even think about it or notice it. And all the decorations and special events for the holidays will make it even better.

Good luck, have fun!

The month of December is pretty light for crowds, except for the week of Christmas to New Year's, when its the busiest time of the year.
17-22 should be very nice. They will have the holiday decorations up and special events. The parks close earlier in December, and Magic Kingdom will have fireworks only every other night.

The crowds are almost always big at Disney World. But if you go knowing that already, you can't let it bother you.

The weather is probably arout 70 F during the day. Sometimes in the winter it can get cold at night. But for me (i am from New England) It would be weather to wear shorts all year round!

The weather, Normally is pretty nice around then. Low 70s but nice! almost perfect theme park weather!
As far as crowds, it can depend. Umm normally the closer to christmas you get, they get a lil busier, but if you go early in the morning at like 9ish you will beat the crowd and have a great time!

Hope this helps ya

It's so hard to predict weather this far out. Typically, its nice.. cool, but still nice out. However, they have had record-breaking winters too! I was there when they had one of those in 2001 and it was freezing! It dropped to 50 degrees (ok, freezing for Disney World) and they shut down all the pools and water parks. So check weather.com each week for 3 weeks prior to your trip to know what to expect.
