I am an American Citizen. I see that I can apply for British Citizenship IF my parent is a citizen of Britain.

My father is an American Citizen. His mother, however, is a British Citizen. Can't he apply for citizenship in Britain?

If he does, and is approved (why wouldn't he?) I would then be able to apply for British Citizenship, correct? OR, is this going to far down the family line?

If written letters, I've went onto the britainusa.com website, I've tried calling, but no answers. If you know, please answer, I would appreciate it.

What would America do if Terrorists were to fire 1600 rockets from U.K onto Washington or New York or to Los Angeles and the British government did nothing to stop these terrorists?. What if these terrorists were based in London?..........Once you have answered this question change America to Israel and U.K as the Lebanon............Think, dont listen to what you see on television. Back your President, be patriotic.

I fly quite a bit. On a recent flight from Mexico City to Veracruz Mexico we flew through a thunderstorm for about 45 minutes (and over a 14,000 foot peak). The plane was bouncing around for the whole 45 minutes. Even saw the flight attendants try to walk down the asile only to be bounced into a lap and had to take seats in the middle of the plane. To me this seemed extremly dangerous but how dangerous is flying through such bumby air?

Im worried about my flight being delayed too long. Is it possible that the airline would allow me to get on an earlier flight if there is available seats? If so it wouldnt cost extra would it?

I'm moving to Mali in West Africa and the language there is French, along with Bambara. I've looked at buying some audio CDs, French for Dummies, etc. If anyone else has been down this road, whats the best resource to use? We'll be taking some language classes once we get there, but I get impatient. Haha.
