time for another educated guess..... Assuming the 5.7 is a V-8, and you have a factory spec towing package on the vehicle, I would estimate up to 4000 pounds for TOWING only. I drive a 2000 Ford F-150 similar, yet very different and on my towing package, I can SAFELY tow up to 4750# If you are still unsure or have any doubt, stop by a Chevy dealer. They will be able to tell you accurately and probably won't even charge you. If safety is not a concern, just load it up and go like hell, everyone down here seems to do so. Silly Florida drivers!!!
