I've flown once before, but it was a non-stop flight both ways. This time, the only choice I have is to have a layover on the way to my destination (in Charolette, NC for about 90 minutes). I guess my question is this: when I get off the plane at Charolette for my layover, do I need to go anywhere to check in for the 2nd part of the trip? I'm assuming I have to go the check-in counter, that only makes sense, right? Do I need to get my bags, or will they be taken care of? Is there any way to make sure that my bags did get on the plane, so I won't have to deal with lost luggage?
I would rather not ask someone there because I don't want it to sound like I don't know what I'm doing. Silly, I know.
