I need travel solutions for a single mother with two kids under the age of 12 with $1200 for 4 days 4 nights?

Where are you from and where are you wanting to go. I think Disney is one of the most common destinations for families, especially with younger children. While some people think it is pretty costly, it can also be inexpensive. For example, Disney advertises $1500 for 2 adults, one junior, and one child, for 7 nights with tickets. If you are flexible with your dates, you can even get free dining starting on August 20. Your kids would love it and you could have a great time as well. Your main cost is going to be air. Depending on where you are from you may be able to drive.

Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge Tennessee is a great place to visit with kids. There is tons to do.

You also have beaches across the country, from California to Myrtle Beach, if that is something that interests your family.

Perhaps you are a near an area with amusement parks and/or water parks. The kids would have a blast and if you are nearby it cuts down on a lot of the cost.

There is usually somewhere nearby that has things for families to do. With a little research and the internet you can find tons of things to do in your area. Even if you are only an hour from home, you can get a hotel room and splurge on some special meals, maybe some shopping, etc. And the big plus, it is a short trip home, which is never any fun.

Whatever you do, get a room with 2 beds!! The kids can share a bed and you get your own. A lot of hotels let kids stay free, so just check out all of the different websites!!
