What're you talking 'bout? It's a unique piece of architecture & is now considered among others not just the tallest but an iconic Malaysian structure/ an identity.
Built by Cesar Pelli & Associates, it's based on an Islamic motif with a basic polygonal plan.
Aside from the world class shopping located at the foot of the building, it was also the shooting location for Entrapment.
The movie which starred Catherine Zeta-Jones & Sean Connery.
If anything its the pride of our nation & has placed Malaysia on the world map.

I like the design...I never thought about whenter it showed malaysia as a city or not...But, i believe it shows that malaysia is more developed than people think. I know people who think that everywhere in malaysia is just the kampong homes. I think that this shows the economical side to the country.

at least we got a landmark to our country.. something to appear on the tv and we can simply say : that's malaysia!
i think a national landmark is important, it gives sort of identity, its how ppl will recognise you.

hmm..it's distinctive I guess...i can recognize it ANYWHERE...but then again, to define something as Malaysian, what does that term mean anyways? I dunno but my honest opinion is that if they wanna do something that tall, I guess practicality comes into play as well...so I'm happy with the design I guess...but that's my opinion (lah...)
