I bought 2 from Sports World last year. They are about 1-1.5 metres long and cost roughly £10 and I can't find them again.
They are good for taking on Southport beach to be towed by a mate in a car or for going down sand hills.

I'm going snowboarding for the first time and need a jacket. I've found a North Face thats quite nice. But is wearing it a lot like "Oh, look at the new guy wearing North Face...ha...ha...ha...!"?
Superficial? Yes, but I can't find any Helly Hansen or the like around here.

Hi, My snowboard really really needs to be waxed, and I am going snowboarding tommorrow (YES!!!!). the problem is that I wasnt able to get to the snowboard shop this year, and now im stuck with just a block of skate wax ("Slick Brick" http://www.skateboard.ws/skateboard-wax.htm) and I was wondering If I will be able to temperarilly wax my board with it. It needs to be waxed so badly that I was going up a jump and actually got stuck on it (yes actually stopped mid way up it). If I can use it, How?

Okay, so I ride goofy-footed and just put the bindings on my snowboard. Should my front binding (right foot) be closer to the end of the board or should my back binding (left foot) be closer to the end of the board?

Ive narrowed my search down to these two mittens and Ive tried on the gore mitts and i like them a lot but would like the dexterity and nose wipe that the level trigger mitt offers. I hear that burtons tend to fall apart.? Help

I've never snow skied or snowboarded, so my first question is what do I wear? I know I need snow pants, but what about those gortex loose pants? What's the best thing to board in? Any helpful are greatly appreciated. I'm in Arkansas, we hardly get cold, much less need to dress for snow.

We are going to be at Heavenly, so any insider are greatly appreciated too!

Thanks in advance!

How long (in centimeters) should a snowboard be for a 5 feet 6 inches (130 pounds) 13 year old boy?

Its kind of like snowboarding on pavement. imagine a longboard with extra wheels in the middle of the trucks that are closer to the pavement so you can carve and go sideways to stop. I just bought one and i want to get some input. they are pretty sick though. go to freebord.com and check out the videos

Ive been looking at the grenade dk punishers. I heard that grenades look great but arent very functional, meaning warmth and durabilty. Any specific pair would be a lot of help, or if you have a review on Grenade.

Mine would be either Mark Frank Montoya for his flowing style or Jussi Oksanen for his amazing switch tricks.

I just got back from an intense week of snowboarding in Colorado and I have the bug. I am looking for something all-purpose to continue learning on, but am willing to spend an extra few bucks for the investment.

I am 5'10'' and about 175lbs and have been using a 157 board.

Im also into graphic design so I would love a pretty creative design. I really love the designs on the Burton Uninc boards, but dont think those really functionally fit with what I am capable of doing.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm a beginner, just started last year and I went on my first black (no falling, yay!) last weekend. No, I can't carve or do tricks.

I'm female, 5ft. 3 1/2 in. or 161.29 centimeters, weigh 110 pounds or 50 kilograms. I wear a shoe size 7 1/2 and sometimes 8.

Yes, I know that the board should got up to between my nose and chin, but I'm looking to order a board online and that won't help very much, will it? I thought that 148cm was a good size, but I was told to get a smaller one. Also, the snowboard sizing guide at http://www.frostyrider.com/tips/size-guide.htm told me to get a 140cm, but isn't that a little short?

Any and all help is appreciated, thanks!

I'm lookin for a nice board that will fly down the mountain.
Not too many rails (some boxes).
Not much halfpipes.
Some jumps and park.
LOTS OF FLYIN DOWN THE MOUNTAIN (powder and groomers).

I'm just curious because my new snowboard pants seems really thin compared to my old ski pants. I was planning on wearing shorts underneath. Any other suggestions?

I am an intermediate rider (I can carve basically) and I am looking for a board that is not too advance for me, but that I can progress on as well (since I got a season pass and plan on going at leat 12 times this winter). I don't want to have to buy a new one next year just because I will get better. Any suggestions of snowboards for an intermediate rider that can be used to progress with too?!?!. Btw, my board length is 159cm :). Thanks!
