the nose and tail of my old snowboard are totaly delaminated, the p-tex is in the air. i tried whit normal epoxy resins but i did nothing. i am very attached to this board, and i use to give it to friends who like to try to snowboard 4 the first time. Any ideas about what to do. i think that the problem come out because of high temperature during waxing

So I just started snowboarding a year ago, and am really happy with my board set up for going down the mnt. but my buddy wants to go find some rails and benches and stuff to session on, and I don't want to destroy my good board, so I'm looking for something fairly inexpensive but lightweight and built for rails and such... if anyone has any ideas let me know!

I am looking for a new setup as I now feel that my cheapo board is holding me back from taking me to the next level.

Im an intermediate transitioning to advance freerider.
I am a begineer freestyler.
I plan to do 85% freeriding / 15% learning in terrain park

I want to go faster while staying stable. Moguls are fun too.
I only plan to stay in the beginner level park and do jumps & boxes. Maybe rails but never any big air jumps.

I am 6ft, 185-195lbs (weight fluncuates lol), with size 12 shoes.

Only brand I am familiar with so far is Ride, and it looks like the Ride Decade 162W is the best choice for me, but even that might be too wide for me at 263m?

I am in need of suggestions of other makes/models. Also with bindings but I haven't really looked into that.

I don't have of load of cash, but would be willing to spend a lil decent amount of money. ~$500 for board/bindings/shoes enough?

Im coming from a Lamar Quest board & my bro's Ride Control. (both too slow!!!)

A few friends and I are going snowboarding in a couple weeks and we were wondering what are some good places to go snowboarding at? We know of Sugar Mtn. and Ski Beech and are wondering what other places you guys recommend. We want to travel somewhere around Georgia and will travel up to 6 hours away. Also what resorts or hotels do you guys recommend we stay at, thanks in advance.

I snowboard and I can always do the tricks but landing them kills. Most of the time I get it but when ever I do a few rails I have a little trouble with my landing. it sucks

If any of this helps, I have a moderate skill level, I'm 5'8, I weigh about 140, and I prefer performance over speed. Also, I don't want a board that requires bindings. I want the kind where the boot snaps directly on and off the board.

Is it legal to wear regular winter boots while I go snowboarding?

Because I ordered snowboarding boots and they haven't come in yet, and today is going to be a beautiful day.

They almost look like snowboarding boots, so im just wondering if I could get away with it.

Hi all

I am new to snowboarding,i can link turns and do the odd trick here and there however when i get to hill of little gradient which i have to go straight i begin to panic as i feel like i`m due to take a tumble because the back seems to feel like the back is going come round to the front.

How can i stop this? what am i doing wrong i am fine doing a red run e.t.c but the slow stuff catches me out and its beginning to put me off.

I have already dislocated 3 fingers and torn the ligaments and broke a bone in my arm and stretched my ligaments/tendons on my knee. Not very lucky but i really wish to progress.I am away to meribel in 2 weeks time and wish to be in the right frame of mind.

When I snowboard there are a select few songs that I listen to when I want to get pumped up, but I am getting tired of listening to the same songs over and over. So for all of you snowboarders out there, let me know what you like to listen to while boarding. I want to make a couple more playlists. Thanks dude.

I am going snowboarding in March. I haven't been in about 7 years and I imagine alot has changed. I remember the last time I had to strap in but was later told I could have used "click-in" bindings. Should I get these? I will be renting. Also, how do you know what size board you need?
