all good things take time...once you have turning down you are golden because you just need to perfect your turns. however learning to turn is a painful process it is totally worth it! when turning put pressure on your leading foot (weather that be goofy or regular..always keep it the same foot forward!!) you will start to travers across the hill. then with your upper body your front hand should swing in the direction you want to go. it the basic principle of where ever your hand goes your body with fallow...including your board. try and wait out the turn, so if your board is turned down the hill for an uncomfortably long time, you're riding!! One important thing to remember is keep your head up, if you look at the ground that is where you are going to go. Just remember have fun, and everything is down hill once you get turning :) good luck

Keep your focus on going downhill (don't lean back). Wear knee pads and shorts with tailbone protection if you can. The less painful the falls, the more risks you'll take and the faster you'll learn. Have fun and don't give up!!

Don't give up. You're going to leave the mountain the first few time hurtin', but keep coming back.
