Northface or Columbia are probably the cheapest, but its worth looking arouned a bit as there are alot of good deals at the moment, as alot of shops have sales on. So you could probably get quite a high spec jacket for $130 at this time of year.

Spyder brand jackets are very nice and waterproof. I am a teen, and mine cost about $100. They are specially designed for skiing, and have many ski-related features.

I suggest Northface, and Spyder is good too...as for price, there's always sales at the beginning and end of winter.

my jackets an 06 ronin 2L jacket. i got it for 100 but its worth 200 and i need to wear something else warm under it. check your boardshop for sales and deals and you could get one helluva snag.

it may be a little late.. but try looking around in marshalls or tj maxx. my parents got me a great men's medium marmont coat with fleece. it is simply amazing. suggesteed retail: $200 tj maxx price: $55.
