I'm lookin for a nice board that will fly down the mountain.
Not too many rails (some boxes).
Not much halfpipes.
Some jumps and park.
LOTS OF FLYIN DOWN THE MOUNTAIN (powder and groomers).

They are pretty much exactly the same board. The Custom is a bit wider and that's about it. If you want to pay a little more and give Shaun White more money, get his board. I'd say save the cash and get the Custom.

EDIT: You are correct, Burton's quality isn't as good as it use to be, it is FAR BETTER than it use to be. Burton boards use to turn into noodles after a few hard days, they delaminated and basically just fell apart. I've been a Burton dealer for four years now and in that time NOT ONE Burton board has come back in to me for warranty. I ride very, very hard and I've not had a single issue with my Burton boards (I own 4) and my T6 is 3 years old and still rides like it was brand new. Burton sets the Bar for snowboard quality.

Burton sets the bar for boards sold. Quality? Questionable. If your stuck on Burton sounds like the custom would be a better choice for you.

in my opinion Burton snowboards aren't as good as they used to be as far as quality goes. but its up to you, but a Burton board is not for beginners so if your going to get one. choose wisely
