Temporarily?

Hello,

I am a guy (85kg/187lb - 190cm/6.23ft - shoes size 10) and I practice snowboarding since 2002.

I am using a Burton Custom 166 but I can't really find the right feeling with the stance of this board which is limited to 53cm.

As far as I can see no Burton boards have a stance width larger than this and I don't know why.

I like riding with a duckfoot stance and I would like to know what tall riders are using in terms of size and setting (i.e. stance width, offset, and angles).

Thank you

My kids snowboard, and they have the kind with bindings and snowboard boots, etc. My sister just bought a snowboard for her 5 year old that has those bindings that are more like flaps, and you wear your regular boots. The underside is not flat, and the board is not quite as substantial as my kids boards.

My kids say that he won't be allowed to use it on the ski hill they go to, and the staff at the hill says he wants to see it before he makes a decision. Now, I totally am fine with it, but can someone tell me WHY this is so I can tell my sister (so she doesn't embarrass me by throwing a fit at the ski hill)?

Thanks!

Ive got a Dynastar Freshy 06' :D ahah .
Ive only been boarding for about 3 yrs now . still not the best but amamzingly i can go faster ( and not wipe out ) then most of the guys on the hills out here ( in BC )
But i have soo much trouble carving. I always swtich my front feet back a forth. i cant make up my mind. its set at Goofy but i use as if regular sometimes too. ( but not correctly positioned obv.) i have no problem wipping around corners with my toes up. but when it comes the the whole point the toes down ( pressure down ) to turn the other way, i freakout .I was thinking... do you think it would be my bindings? like holding me back..? i got Burton Lexa Stilleto toe straps.Any awsome tips??
And the last Question
Would anybody know about how i could get into working as like , creating designs on snowboards? or am i JUST not able ot do that lol. yes im artistic and i know what people like. But i have no clue where to start or even look 4 that stuff.
Thank you very much Btw

I have new Burton Freestyle boots and K2 Cinch'05 bindings. The bindings seem too small for the boots - the straps are almost maxed out. This seems odd, considering I have med-sized feet (8.5)....

...Any words of wisdom?!?

Hi,
I have been wearing these boots for 2 years now and experiencing extremely numb toes after only 10 minutes of riding. I have pretty bad circulation to begin with and my toes and hands are easily cold, but it has gotten to the point where I'm getting chilblains this year (I shouldn't be getting those at this age, I think!). Is this because they are too small? Also, these boots seem to allow my heel to slide up and down, which makes me think that they might be too big?!

Is this a result of boots being too small, or too big? Or are they just fitting improperly all around?

Thanks.

Can anybody list the usual stages of snowboarding? I've been learning for a week now, and i can almost carve my way down a run (on easy slopes though). What should my next step be?

That's the board I have, Now I need to find some bindings.
My buddy has some bindings that you simply snap your boot (specialy made with attatchments on the bottom) into a clip that's attatched to the board. No straps at all. You simply press a release to free your boot. I want these, but can't find them anywhere. He got the board and boots second, or third hand, and has no idea where it all came from.
Anyone ever heard/seem/have/know where I can buy?
Anything help?
