If you fancy snowboarding then go for it. Seize every opportunity you can and don't let a few extra pounds put you off.
Snowboarding is fun and there are no weight or height restrictions. Don't be conscious of what other people might be thinking, they're probably too busy doing their own thing to be aware of you and even if they are then so what. It's about you having fun so don't let shallow minded people get in the way of you enjoying yourself.

Of course... a lot of people lose the motivation to work out in the winter because they don't have any outdoor activities that keep them active. Snowboarding can be a way for you to enjoy your exercise... some things will be difficult, a towrope will probably be very hard if you aren't able to support your weight... but taking off the board and walking up the bunny hill might not be too bad an idea. Just have fun!

yes of course you can your weight has nothing too doo with it
its about being in shape and by the sounds of it you dooo way more exercise than me
and all the people being mean have no clue what there talking about
first couple times on the mountain will be hard but there is no reason you shouldn't pick it up as fast as everyone else =]

Absolutely! It's more about balance than cardio, in my opinion. You'll get the hang of it. Keep up the good work with cardio 4x a week, that's awesome.

I'm 5'8" and weigh 210 lbs, I ski at least one week a year and have snowboarded too. Go for it! It's so much fun...

of course you can. everyone can snowboard if your focused enough. prove everyone wrong and show them you can do it. Its a great source of exercise too. lol.

im 5ft 6 and i beleive it dont matter how fat you are just so your heart is good inside god lets us do anything we put our mind too try it im fat too and dont care what other people think
