i just got a new board with a stomp pad and it broke off the first time i went. Should i spend my money on a new one? I know there helpful but are they neccesary?

It depends, if you are a beginner it might be helpful. Some boards can become really slippery when they get a little snow on them. If you have experience than you wil probably not need one. Think about it this way would you rather pay the couple of dollars to get one or fall on your face in front of all your friends while getting off of the chairlift?

P.S. If you do get one Burton has one with metal tips to help grip your boot and scrape snow off. They stick real well and you probably couldn't pull it off.

I never used one, but I guess they're nice for scraping the snow off your boot if it gets built up. You can use the edge of your board.

okay buddy real simple!
its not necessary!
u put ur foot on ur board!
and unlike some people would say it will slip!
don't waste ur money!
just learn without it!
its not worth it!

Yea..I recomend it. Saves your *** gettin off the lift.

just keep your foot up against your back binding and you'll be fine
