It's a great board. I think the last year it was made was 2003 (but I might be wrong) and it's designed around the big mountain riding of Johan Olaffson. It's really, really stiff and goes very, very fast. Definitely not a board for the timid as you really need to drive it hard to get it to perform but if you can do that, it's an amazing ride. I loved that board but they don't really make anything like it anymore as it was a pretty small niche that liked it.

I agree with the guy above. I've been riding for about 16 years and have been riding the Johan Olafson's for about 9 years. It was a 2003 board that is no longer produces. It is classified as a big mountain/ freeride board. Great board for speed, powder, and large jumps/ cliffs. It loses a little in the park and trees because of its flex pattern and lengths as well as its 2" set back for stance. I ride the republik 166cm (eagle) and love it. I've got about 140 days on it in the last 3.5 years and it holds up very well. Have a great time with it.
