Like I have been saying for awhile, Youzhny is on a roll and might very well face Federer in the finals. Youzhny has never beaten him, but here's a prediction: if they play Youzhny will win. The guy is just playing great tennis. He will likely break the top 10 very soon.

I am a teen that is starting to get serious about my tennis. I play about 4-5 times a week and am wanting to upgrade my tennis racquet to something that is just a good all-rounder. If anyone has any comments on the Babolat Pure Drive, or any advice on other Babolats or other brands that would suit my needs, it would be much appreciated. I would prefer a Babolat, just cause I seem to favour them for some reason lol, but I am open to anything. Thanks for all your help.

Tommy Haas is in marvelous form, you saw how easy he beat his opponent today.. and Federer isn't winning so comfortably, he struggled against Pless, Bracialli and Djokovoic... Do you think is there any chance Haas would beat Federer this time ?

I think she is lucky in late 1990's when Steffi Graf was injuried and Monica Seles couldn't come back to her best after the attack.

What is the best racquet that makes it easier to play tennis? Short/long, large/small, heavy/light? I'm kind of starting out, and I'm generally not good at sports. I want the type or racquet that will make it easiest for me to stay in the game without looking too bad on the field. Any advice for an novice from the pro's out there?

My friend was playing a match yesterday and I believe a false call was made, what is your opinion. It was 40-40, his add, and he was at the net. His opponent hit the ball directly at him and he hit an overhead, and the other guy missed it. Like 4-5 seconds passed, and my friend hit the net with his racket (because he just won). At that point the coach of the other team made them redo the point because you are not supposed to touch the net...is this a justified call? Should the coach have even been involved in all? (all in all we won the match against them). We're freshmen on the JV tennis team. Thanks.

I bought this racket and the little "w" right above the handle is black in a silver square. Others that I've seen have a red "w" in a black square. Whats up? are some of these fake or older models? And why do the sames models have different weight and Head lightness?

Has anyone done a study of the typical ranking history of those players who end up becoming top ranked? For example, is there a basic path to the top, whereby the player within very short order of turning pro steadily moves up? Or are there some examples of players who muddled around in the middle or lower rankings for perhaps several years before they made their move? For example, has there ever been a case of a player hanging around above the ranking of 50, say for four or more years, who finally reaches a breakthrough and stays in the top-10 for the rest of his career? Just wondering. It appears to me that those who become top-ranked do so rather quickly, and at a young age. On the other hand, it appears that if you do not break the top-50 within your first 3 or 4 years you will never do so. Is that right?
