Andy is ranked #3 in the world and that's exactly where he deserves to be. He is playing the 3rd best tennis in the world right now. Actually, he is playing a little better than his closest competitors: Blake, Nadal and Gonzalez so I would say he is playing the 2nd best tennis right now. Everyone else, except Federer, is very streaky and inconsistent right now. Blake was upset yesterday. Nadal is struggling with injury. Gonzalez blew it at the Davis Cup. Roddick hasn't been losing to people he shouldn't be losing to. Only Federer, Haas (who didn't face a break point the entire tournament last week) and Murray (future top 5 player. NEAR future.) have beaten him lately.
I'd say he's at a very fitting #3 in the world.
