I bought this racket and the little "w" right above the handle is black in a silver square. Others that I've seen have a red "w" in a black square. Whats up? are some of these fake or older models? And why do the sames models have different weight and Head lightness?

by the way, my version of the racket has the black "w" in the silver box, and weighs 340 grams(12 oz) and is 12 points head light.

I don't mean the shock absorber. I mean the little Wilson symbol right above the grip. Some have a black "w" others a silver one.

The "little black W" is just a shock absorber/trap for your racket, to stop vibrations from hurting your hand and forearm when you hit a shot awkwardly. The color doesn't mean anything, especially not that the racket is a fake - as long as you bought it at a sports retailer or pro shop. Aside from that, if you ordered your racket online, you were probably offered a choice to change the stringing tension/weight, etc. Check that, and if you still don't know, ask the people you purchased the racket from.

An authentic nCode nSix One Tour distributed in the USA should have a black W in a silver square. And yes there are fakes of Wilson and Babolat frames, they are sold on ebay and other auction sites (authorized dealers are not allowed to sell on ebay). Fakes are all graphite or aluminum frames from mom-and-pop factories in mainland China typically. They put the same paint job (at least very close to it). As for racquet specs, the numbers will be different if the specs are being measured strung vs unstrung (swingweight, static weight, stiffness, all affected by whether or not the racquet is strung). Having overgrip or head tape on the frame will affect them too.

hi dude i understand this is the same problem with me but i asked my tennis coach he told me that logo depends on the color of your racket if your color is same as other than it might be like your racket is a 2007 model that is why the company has changed the color of the logo .and according to me it is not necessary that the logo will be logo of same color.and hey you should be comfortable rather thinking that it is local.dont think about it and keep playing your game
