The easiest way to get cut from the tennis team is play the worse game you know how. Then tell the coach that you want out and that you won't be there for any more practices. Let the other team members know that you hate to leave them in the lurch, but you feel that you are dragging the team down and feel that if you resign from the team, then they might have a chance to do a better job without you.
If you really like the game and want to still practice, ask the coach if it would be possible to practice with the team even though you would no longer be on the team. It would be a way to keep them practiced up and try to keep them in tune for their matches.
Good Luck!!

First of all why do you want to get cut?If you tried out and made the team the coach must have seen something in your abilities.Sometimes its easier to just give up and not compete, but I do not think that's you,I played high school tennis I may have not been the best player on the squad but I made sure I found someone to hit with after school to try to become the best player I could be,I would try to play players that were better than me so that it would give me a reason to get better,so DON'T GIVE UP!!!

I felt like you did when I was on the team. My coach would cut us if we didn't show up to practice and we didn't have an excuse. if your coach isn't as strict, tell him you can't do it anymore. There are a lot of people who tried out that want to be on the team. Someone will fill your spot. When this happened to me, I stuck it out and was glad that I didn't quit. I honestly didn't have a lot of fun though.

keep trying, practice and you could get better at it. if you really feel like you don't want to be there then yo could quit. i tried to do the same but my coach and my friends wouldn't let me. our team isn't really good but it's getting better every year and this is my first year playing. i decided to stay but it's a lot a work. i didn't think tennis was that hard. i did quit my bowling club though because i didn't like it. bowling is fun but the girls there, well... that was one of my reason.

easy.
Simply take off your shorts and put it on your coach's head.
It grants you a sure ticket out of the tennis team.
