I wanted to know if the small dampeners, long dampeners, or the dampeners that are attached to the racquet like the Babolat Racquet Vibration system had a difference?

Which one would give me less shock??
can you give me a specific dampener that works well?

Ps im a beginner.

well, long ones or snakes work better than short ones.
Best of all in my opinion though is an elastic band. I always found my shocka absorbers fell off and got lost. so i tied a lacky on. around a main and cross string. It didn't cost me anything, it didn't fall off, and it absorbed shock better than the others. you don't need to tie a special knot, just make it up.

I play internationally and train everyday for about five hours and I'll let you in on a secret. Vibration dampeners have been proven to only dampen the sound--not the shock... So I personally wouldn't bother with them..
( I don't play with them )
So, if the way the ball sounds to you is important... I would get one, but if not than... i'd stick with just the racket and strings!

Try the Prince nxg silencer for heavy dampening, the Prince nxg tour dampener for moderate absorption or tie a rubber band to your strings, ala Andre Agassi, for light dampening.
