I was reading that many people cant be killed with a .22 from a far distance, that the bullet just goes around the skull not even getting in. Is that true?

And that you have to be really close to the subject to actually damage them. IS this true?

I bought this gun to hunt turkey and I shoot 3" number 6's. Man it kicks hard. It is a new gun and I am the first and only one to ever shoot it.

So I worked at a hunting ranch in south texas for a month during my winter break this year and it was high fenced but about 30000 acres. And when the feeder went off (for a ridiculus 15 seconds) the same big bucks would show up at the same feeder everyday at the same time, and would stand there even after i shot a couple does. now that was ridiculus and maybe unethicle! But where ive grown up hunting in Central Texas it seems as the Bucks there are smarter, we have never killed a big mature buck at a feeder. they just wont go! but what it does accomplish is keeping the does coming to the feeder which may have a buck with her that stays back, which gives us at least a chance. to me this is not unethicle, am i wrong? why? and am i spelling ethicle right?

A friend of mine took a ratcatcher rifle to his local woods, then got hit by CS spray from local cops. My sniper rifle is arriving tommorow and I want to do some target practice. Its just a C02 rifle not real ammunition. If I go to the woods do I have a right to let of a few rounds on targets?

I think its legal, but the last thing I need is some old bat stuck in a traffic jam calling the police saying she has seen a rifleman at the side of a motorway pointing his gun, and then my day being ruined. No animals or people involved and I can legally own this rifle, just want to do some long range target practice. Thanks in advance for any advice.

In Ohio you must be 18 or older to own a firearm. But 21 or older to own a handgun. What is the difference?

We are setting value for my Uncle's estate and found two old handguns curious as to value.
1. Harrington & Richardson Worchester, MA serial number 582 - pistol
2. On barrel stamped The American Double Action with serial number 18093
One with ivory(?) grip has 1/4" chip both used not sure what to call the condition.
On the American Double Action there is another stamp on barrel can't read most of the lettering but the first two readable characters are 44.
Thanks

out of all the mechanical broadheads out there, people have their own idea of a nice head. is there a particaular one that the majority just feel is the better fieldtip characteristic flying broadhead? i wanna know who thinks what is the best and is it supported by others ..?

im trying to buy some but don't know which heads to choose. i just want a penetrating wide enough cut head without alot of tuning and for the broadhead to not control the arrow flight so much.
