this old pistol belonged to my Grandmother who died 20 years ago and it is in excellent shape and in the original box. I'm sure it has never been registered and i'm wondering if I can sell it and how I would go about it. I did go to a local gunshop and they offered me $100 when I know it is worth more than that from what i've looked up on the internet. I live in SC

What type of metal are these pellets made of? My son accidentally shot himself in the leg and the pellet is still just under the skin. He won't go to the doctor. I'm concerned about lead poisoning. If there is no lead content, what type of metal are these made of, and what toxicity concerns should I have?

I've seen guns in news and in movies but I just can't imagine what the difference is. I am sure is the size but I want to know if 0.40 or 0.45 mean 40mm and 45mm or maybe it doesn't have anything related to mm.

I've heard the myth about shooting the White Deer will bring bad luck, but was hoping to find more myths/legends about deer, wildlife in general, hunting and/or trapping. Maybe there are family stories you have or have heard from freinds or you know where on the Net I could them.

I am looking to get a DPMS varmint/tactical model of the ar-15. I am stuck choosing between two great calibers how ever the .223 and the .308. I have seen the perfomance that .308 is capable of at longer rangers and have heard that the.223 performs similar to that. The thing that im stuck is this. I'm looking to use it for hunting coyotes, foxes, white tail and pronghorn. I know that the .223 is more than capable of taking down all of these animals at 200 to 300yrds as long as you hvae good shot placement. The question i have is that if i get the .308 and use it to shoot coyote..probably not fox tho...and used a solid bullet that doesnt expand much in the lightest grain i can find do you think it would blow the coyote up too much??

I really need to know the official slogan, approved by the NRA, with a Web site where I can confirm this info. I keep finding "Guns don't kill people, people do," but I'm not sure this is really their official motto. Thanks!

I'm looking for an aftermarket trigger that will fit on my model 1917 Enfield. I'm trying to replace the military style two-stage trigger that it currently sports with a softer one-stage trigger. In the past I've tried to put a Timney trigger on it, but it went off every time the stock was bumped. I'm just wondering if it is even possible to do what I am attempting, and how I would do it if it is.

How they worked; how to use them; what they were used for; when they were used; how many shots could you have, and how many you could shoot a minute; would an assassin use them; would they be good for anything else besides sniping?
