Yes there are. I believe Auto Ordnance (division of Kahr)owns the patent and are the only company currently manufacturing Thompson style SMGs.
Could be wrong maybe they only own the name.
They are not cheap and the drum mag holds far less than the original, only 10 rounds. In fact the stick magazine holds more(30). I have no idea if they will function will original 50 and 100 round drum magazines. I highly doubt it, and originals are prohibitively expensive anyways. Thompson's are also heavy. Expect to pay over $900 all the way up to $2,200 for a new model, before tax title, shipping, etc...

Jack is correct in stating that Auto-Ordnance is currently producing semi-automatic reproductions of both the Thompson M1 SMG and the Thompson 1927.

These rifles cost approximately $1,148.00 and $1,221.00 respectably.

However, these rifles have been on the market for quite a while and used rifles can be found of gunbroker.com for as little as $773.00.
