I used to paintball but im getting interested in airsoft guns now (more realistic) but I don't really know what I am looking for. I something that has some power but not too expensive. Would rather have a pistol for now but other guns can be recommended to.

Gas is the only way to go because spring dosent have that much power or accuracy. Electric is just stipid because it dosent have that much power and who wants to carry around batteries. the co2 cartrages also last a long time so you dont have to be throwing monye away when shooting it.

For handguns, gas is the best. If you want an automatic machine gun, electric is the best and if you want a shotgun or a sniper rifle, spring powered is the best. For your first gun first I would get a Gas Blowback and then move up to a AEG (automatic electric gun). Gas Blowbacks range from 80$ to 160$ An electric AEG costs around 100$ to 450$ for a good one. There is no problem w/ carrying recharible batteries around in an AEG because they alst a long time. P.S, If you are going to get a Gas Pistol Get a green gas one because Co2 is dumb and you have to buy cartridges wereas in green gas it come in a compressed can.
