PK musta been tired and just didn't want to do the math. Normally, he would have answered you. For shame, boy! ;)

Beeman standard .177 pellets weigh in at 9.2 grains. With a 9.2gr pellet at 1000 feet per second, you get exactly 20 foot pounds of force.

With a Gamo 8.2gr pellet at the same velocity, you would have 18 foot pounds of force.

Of course, the rifle is only rated to 1000fps in .177 so you'd have to figure that 20ft-lbs as your max. Your actual would probably be in the 16-17ft-lbs range.

The same rifle in .22cal, firing a 17gr pellet at 800fps, is 24ft-lbs.

Someone there would know, ask REAL airgunners who
shoots a SS1000. I presume a stock gun, not tuned.
