There are several models of Enfields so there are several variations with their bolts. They entered service in 1888 and are still in use in some places. India made them as late as the 1980s. With the No1 series and the No4 Mk1* make sure the bolt head is screwed all the way down, they bolt head can loosen when you remove it for cleaning. The same applies for the No4 MK1 (No *) but there is a catch that must be depressed to release or fully reinsert the bolt.
