Has anyone fired any or all three of these pistols and have an opinion on their accuracy? I'm looking to get one and I know the MK 23 is all match grade, but for the price of the pistol for mainly killing paper targets, are the other two 'good enough'? I like the feel of the MK23 even though its larger, but a USP fits nice too. Can you shoot relatively tight groups with either of the two lesser models. And, how do they compare to a P229? I have shot one of those and did well, even though it felt 'tall', but I just like the HK's.

Saw this demonstrated on future weapons the other day and have some questions.
How much bullet drop is there at it's max range of 1800 meters.
Does having lower muzzle velocity and larger bullet mean you'll have to compensate more for windage or less as compared to a 30.06

Thanks ahead of time for the answers.I've done all kind of searches, but they don't answer these questions.

What would be the price of an winchester model 70 pre. 64' .300 H&H magnum rechambered to a .300 WM. This rifle has shot about 2-3 boxes of shells and has been kept in good condition. Everything is original on this rifle.( except for the fact that it has been rechambered)

What's the best handgun for the price? $300 to $600 range.
My main focus is the best accuracy for the price.

I have a Ruger 10/22 for practice and to teach the kids shooting basics. I thinking of moving up to something "more". We have no plans to hunt, just target. I guess there could be some home defense potential. I don't care for shotguns. I was thinking of something .223 caliber like a Mini 14 or maybe an SKS 7.62 x 39 mm. I'd like to have something with relatively inexpensive ammo (though I know nothing is cheaper than a .22).

What do you suggest?

I realize that they have been up for over a year, because Syria, Iraq, and Venezuela have each ordered a billion rounds. Does anyone know when their orders are likely to be filled, so that the market price for 7.62 x 39 will be more reasonable? Thanks.
