Isn't it great that all the anti-hunters can't have as much fun as we do. I went hunting in November and on the way to camp there were some people protesting deer hunting by a country store .They were standing out in the cold rain and we told them we were going to go to camp and have a big steak then sit around the fireplace and talk about what we were going to shoot tommorrow. Then two of my buddies mooned them and we drove away. Does anyone have a story they would like to share?

I'm a fan of Savage firearms, but have not tried the Accu-trigger. Good? Bad? Indifferent?

If you go on a hunting trip in Africa and you hunt quite a few animals (maybe a few of the big five) how much would it usually round out to? Like what would the price range?

I'm interested in your feedback, because I'm thinking of getting one for my 13 year old. I was going to get the 20 gauge/.308 combo. The shotgun barrel would be great for turkeys and deer slugs down here in Iowa, and the rifled barrel would be great for deer hunting up on our farm in Wisconsin.

Ok I just got a rossi revolver, but I cant figure out what model it is.It is J-frame size, 2inch barrel, and looks like a clone of s&w 36. ok heres the discription..
blue finish
2 inch barrel
5-shot 38 special
plastic checkered grip panels with dime sized "rossi" emblem.
serial # on bottom of butt only "299xx"
markings on barrel "amadeo rossi & cia sao leopoldo a.s." and ".38 special"
Markings on the rest of the frame... cylinder release side is blank, othe side reads,"Ind.bras.(rossi)marc. reg." and "made in brazil firearms int'l corp. washington,d.c."
Thats the best desc. I can give. Any info. would be greatly apreciated. value???

I have found a Winchester Model 1894 for sale in the calibre of 7-30 Waters. It does not have a cross bolt safety, and appears to be in great condition. The blueing on the 24 inch barrel is great, no scratches or anything. I kinda think that it has never been fired before, and if it has, it has been to the very minimal. It also has a Weaver 4x scope mounted on Weaver mid-mounts. Rifle is in beautiful condition. I was just wondering how much it would be worth so I would know if it was priced right.

If you're camping or just out in bear country and you have a 12 gauge as a camp gun for protection, what should you load it with? Buckshot or slugs? I know the slugs should be used to stop a charging bear but will buckshot be effective or will the bear just shrug it off and keep coming? I would of course have a high caliber rifle and high caliber handgun (.44mag) but what should be put in the 12 gauge?

AR -15's are chambered for the .223 or 5.56x45.This is not a question I'm just tired of hearing people saying that it fires a .222.

Just wondering: Can a standard in-line muzzleloader fire 12 ga. BB shot? Would I need a "shotgun" barrel or would the rifle barrel be fine. If I seat the shot in plastic cylinder with a wad on top.

thanks
