I'm going to be purchasing a knife soon and want to know what kind of qualities to look for.

(Legality of the blade's length is something I will speak with the seller about.)

As for what kind I'm looking for I want it to be something spring-like, though I know those can be sketchy on exactly what's legal and what's not. I know switchblades are illegal but I also know that certain blades (depending on the mechanics of how the blade is opened) are allowed.

So if 100 dollars is my limit, what kind of things should I ask/look for?

I figure the pattern would be fine, but I've read turkies can see into the ultra-violet...do you think military camo would any more or less obvious than regular camo? I'm thinking about buying a set of the digital camo for spring turkey season.

I haven't bowhunted for 15 years and am now going to get back into it. When I bowhunted I shot a heavy arrow at 75lbs draw. I actually knocked a doe off her hoofs. Today I held a carbon arrow and couldn't believe how light it was. How could this arrow ever penetrate through bone? The first black bear I harvested was with a Browning Bushmaster with an aluminum arrow tipped with a Muzzy broadhead and it shattered its shoulder with little damage to the arrow or broadhead. Are these new arrows that good? If your a tree hugging freak, please don't answer, or I will flood your e-mail with Uncle Ted Nugents thoughts on you.

It has been in my family for years. It still is in working condition. It is a true Owlhead with the little Owlhead on the plastic grips.

I know this has been brought up before, but who is starting to get tired of the countless and repetitive airsoft questions? They have nothing to do with hunting and have no business in the "Hunting" section. All people ask is "how good is this gun?" or "which gun should I get?". It's very annoying trying to weed through those questions when trying to find questions relevant to hunting and sporting firearms.

If you are into airsoft, please use either the "General Sports" or "General Outdoor Recreation".

I have been wanting a new gun and i Found a Mossberg 100 ATR for $265 and it is the cheapest gun i can find. The smallest Caliber it comes in is a 243, so im getting that. Is it pretty good for coyotes as far as range and velocity? I know its a decent deer rifle, but i live in Illionois, which is shotgun only, so all i will use it for is coyotes, and i just dont have the money for a 22-250 and the cheapest one i found was a Howa Lightning for like $400, so that really limits me. If you find a cheap 22-250 Bolt Action please tell me. I reload, so i will probably buy reloads, but about how much are bullets from the store?
Thanks

I don't want to make them fly somewhere else. I want them dead. I have to water my lawn which doesn't help because water attracts them and I can't shoot them easily because they fly up on my roof when I go outside. I heard an anti-freeze and water mixture in a bird bath could work but I don't want to kill anything other than the pigeons.

After asking friends and Yahoo answers, I have decided to purchase a Glock. A local gun shop has a special on new Glock 17 full size 9mm or Glock 19 small size 9mm complete with Glock case, 2 mags (17 is 17 shot, 19 is 15 shot), and speedloader. The price is $479. I have to order within 2 weeks. Which gun is better. I assume that the 19 might be slightly better since the 17 is the first model.

Lastly, how much more is a .45 caliber? I prefer a .40S&W or .45 caliber, but may jump on the 9mm if its a good deal.

Lastly, yes I am an experienced shooter and am comfortable with all of these calibers.
