HI-Point will send you one for free all you have to do is ask. Jim and Mike are good guys to spend some time talking to. If you ask them the right way they will send you all the parts that you will ever need for your gun when they send you the firing pin. USMC I have a HI-Point 9mm carbine and I am here to say they are one of the best out there and are dead nut on the mark shot after shot. A lot of LEOs are using HI-Point firearms.

a spare firing pin? try hi point's website. but you can always send it back to the factory and they will put a new one in for you free of charge and give you a free 8 round magazine too. you just pay for shipping.

calling the factory is right, but i have to agree with USMC, the hi-point is the price-saver version of guns. if all you do is keep it for personal or home protection then its a great deal, if your going to do alot of shooting then you will enentually grow tired of it malfunctioning. yes when its new it shoots great but due to its sub-standard materials, and low manufacturing tolerences it will wear out quickly. and not to mention their pistols arent even comfortable to hold. the carbine is about the only thing decent they have. i suggest saving time and money in the long run and getting a used hi-power or even one of taurus' new 9mm berretta designs.
