Carbon fiber barrels are very nice as they're pretty much the latest technology. Carbon fiber is stronger than steel, yet lighter than aluminum.

Thus, you'll have a durable part while also light and easy to carry and run with. I'm not sure of the accuracy because I've only shot a carbon barrel a few times, but it most likely varies by the manufacturer and overall quality.

Good luck finding what you want!

12-14'' should be the max. I use a 14'' it doesn't give you any more accuracy and it doesn't go any further then an 8'' barrel I like the 14'' because of the balance of the gun it feels better too me and the reason most people get a 14'' is you can use it to push on a bunker and still staying concealed when playing speedball. (love both woodsball and speedball though) A carbon fiber barrel does tend to create less friction and thus gives you slightly more range and accuracy. The real reason for using it is because they are both superbly light and strong at the same time. I don't care about weight I personally like a heavy gun. It's all about preference and playing styles. Good luck play safe and have fun. *Edit* Hey RBU go out and try the barrels yourself they don't perform any better. OH and go to any paintball forum and say that. They'll tear you a new ******** for a comment like that. I don't believe you've been playing for 7 years. any experienced paintball player would know there is no difference in range with a longer barrel versus a shorter one.

first of all joethemet u must be stupid or something. the longer the barrel get the better the accuracy u will have. their is no way an 8 inch barrel is as accurate as a 14 inch barrel. you the shooter must just suck. get a 16 inch carbon fiber barrel. They are extremely accurate and light.

Get a 16 incher, a 8 incher is too small! Make it bigger.
