Remove the gas tube and furniture. Remove the barrel pin, take the rifle to a press and use a soft metal rod to push the barrel out, be careful not to damage the trunion when pushing the old barell out. Press the new barrel back into place, use a simple fixture or jig to hold the trunion while the barrel is pushed back into place, use the barrel pin hole as a reference point, press the barrel back into it's original position. Pin the barrel.

I'm not sure if it can be changed without proper tools. Depending on country of manufacture, they might be pressed in, threaded and screwed on, or screwed on and locked with a pin. At any rate, a gunsmith should do it to make sure it is done right.

For the most part, you can't, you just swap out the upper half.
