Good question. We don't have any Saltwater crocs in Texas, only freshwater American crocodiles and alligators.
As big as I've heard those salties get I probably would use my trusty .458 Winchester Magnum and shoot for the head, a big enough target.

easy one for me and most aussies, minimum will be a .22 however you need good aim if you are going to use this, aim for the nostrils, hit these and the croc can not dive or they drown, this will keep them away and more than likely will kill them eventually..
however if you have a higher power rifle aim about 1 inch below the spot centreed by its eyes, this will cause max damage and kill the croc pretty instantly...
if possible you a high owered rifle with a hollow tips

I would not aim for the brain, it is such a small target. Aim for another vital area. Even a .22LR pistol will do the job, if the shot is placed right. However, I would not use anything under .357 Magnum.

It depends a lot on what position you have on the croc. If you can shoot straight down through his head and hit his brain, a fairly small caliber would do it. Maybe even a .22 pistol. If you are shooting from another, less advantageous angle, then I would want at least a .223 (the round the military uses in M-16's).

Pretty much any full bore rifle round and most pistol rounds would do it with a head shot. Skulls aren't all that tough and scrambling its bean sized brain will switch it off for sure.

I would use a .308 semiautomatic rifle and have my Glock 10mm for back up. Shoot for the middle of the head.

We'll a head shot magnum slug and if you shot the body you are gonna be unlucky

A .44 to the top of the head. First you got to mase the croc to stun him. Are you going to make some boots out of him or eat him like the waterboy
