How many inches would it penetrate fired at 15 feet?

I'm setting up a firing range on my property. My primary backstop will be a dirt berm with a concrete wall behind the berm. The wood will be used on the sides of the range, not as a primary backstop, but I wanted to know what thickness of wood I should use for any errant bullets.

I just need a good tactical knife for $100 or less, doesn't matter if its folding or fixed, I know Gerber, Buck, and Leathermen make good knives, any other brands? If there is a Benchmade for $100 or less then please tell me, I have had no luck in that area.

I hunt coyotes and need a gun, and i know its pretty cheap compared to some others. I will get it in a 22-250 if possible, or if i cant a .243. Does anybody know if these are a good gun?
