I have a old 3030 by Western Auto/Revelation
(Marlin?)model 200 lever action carbine that used to
work without any problems. It has been sitting for ten
years and now I cannot get the bolt to open using the
lever. I tried loosening the screw on the lever and
that allowed the bolt to open and work the action but
I cannot get the lever to go back in properly so that
it will close completely enabling me to shoot the gun.

I can cycle the lever in a strange way and open and
close the bolt, but if I place it in a certain
position, then it doesn't close completely.

I can also monkey with it a bit and get it to close
completely and insert the screw to hold the lever open
but then cannot get the bolt to open or the lever to
move.

Any thought or help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this the velocity that best suits most match-grade pellets, or is it a legal issue?

What are the pros and cons? should I buy it?

Most gun magazines give a good rating, they have a lifetime any problem guarantee, very few guns have that, not even glock.
Any reason not to buy? What caliber?

The Wolf's 7.62x39 is dirt cheap online. But I heard Wolf is a bad ammo b/c of steel cases and they are dirty? Will the steel case damage my gun to the part I need to change the parts? The Wolf ammo also got the lacquered and polymer coating, which one is better? I got a Hungarian AMD65, I'm also wondering about how much rounds I can shoot each time for my shooting trip.

Hi..

I was just wandering. Is it legal in US to own a Dragunov Tiger Sniper Rifle?
I have hared some people say that they use it for hunting. And i sae a couple of those rifles on sale at the official Dragunov website. So that's why i'm asking this.
In the state of NJ is it legal? If not what states allow those kind of guns?

Thank You.

I found a k98 mauser for about 150 bucks. It's in pretty decent shape and could use a good clean-up. Ammo is fairly cheap as well. Anyone know much about these rifles. I am just lookinf for something to take to the range and shoot around with.

Here in America lever actions, especially in .30-.30 and .44 magnum are popular for deer hunting. Are they used elsewhere or are lever action rifles an American thing?
