i have this project due tomorrow and i need to know what hunts the dinofelis for my presentation.

Crocodiles
The dinofelis home range and size would indicate that it was not free from predation.
In that time period the crocodile was larger then today’s,
If you stop to consider that the crocodiles of the cretaceous period fed on the Velociraptor
and even up to and including Tyrannosaurus Rex, Time has only made the crocodile smaller.
If you look at today’s big cats when food is in shot supply they feed up on there own species.
For the saying only the strong survive is literal.
Dinofelis was a genus of cat about the size of a large leopard or small lion. Dinofelis was built like a jaguar with thick forelimbs. It couldn't chase prey, but more likely would grab hold of it's prey like a jaguar. Dinofelis is known from Eurasia, Africa, And North America. Dinofelis is sometimes referred to as a 'false saber-tooth', based on it's tooth shape which is somewhere between that of modern species and the true saber-tooths like Smilodo

Haha.. I have a presentation about the Dinofelis tomorrow too. I wonder if this is Jenni Ronnenberg? Well anyway, Nothing really hunted the dinofelis.. well it doesnt really say. The dude that said he was on top of the food chain is right.

This was a type of saber tooth cat that lived about 5 1/2 million years ago. Nothing messed with this critter, it was at the top of the food chain; just like the lion and tiger of today.
