What is the most powerfull MASS PRODUCED handgun in the world?
I've seen a video on YouTube with someone who had customised their magnum handgun to be 60. cal... flew right out of their hand on the first shot with extreme recoil.

But, that was customised, so, does anyone here know the most powerful cal magnum you can get today without it being customised?

I'm looking to buy my own rifle for elk hunting with my dad in Eastern Oregon in the Northside Unit. It's a High Desert Area, lots of hills and juniper trees. Any shot taken will be less than 200 yds. My only rifle I've used for this in the past has been a borrowed 7mm WSM. Just looking for suggestions and supportive information of other possible calibers I could use.

I know there are a lot of good shooting ranges, but I don't like to spend 10-15 bucks every time I just want to plink around. Is there anywhere close to denver or colorado springs (I live in Castle Rock) to just head out to a natl park and sight in a rifle, or just have fun with a little target practice?

I don't know what to get for my father for Christmas. 2 years ago he began deer hunting with some men from his church. I'm sure that everything he uses (including the gun) is borrowed from the other men, because they encouraged him to go with them.

I know nothing about hunting. I am wondering if there is something I can get him so he has something of his own, or something he can impress the guys with. When he first started he told me he could use some boots, which I got him. But what else could he use.

He lives in a very small, poor, rural community. So I don't want to get him anything to fancy.

Also - I don't want to get him a gun. They have a six year old adopted son who gets into everything and I don't think my father would take the time to lock it up securely. I know he probably keeps the borrowed one at home, but I just can't see myself buying him one.

Ok, before the onslaught, I am not anti-gun. My belief just happens to be not EVERY gun and not for EVERYone. So that is my thought. This is not like a universal remote or cordless phone. Someone not understanding how to properly handle and use a gun can be VERY dangerous. Thoughts.

In the Army and trying to find something that will make it easier to clean our weapons. Many people spend a lot of time scraping carbon build up. We are not supposed to use automotive engine type cleaners. Thanx!

my husband is getting on in the years and is a tough old man but not in good health. every deer season he disapears in the forest and spends the rest of his time dressing and preparing venison for the table when this is done he tans deerskins for leather.i know he loves me deeply but i get lonely and worry about his safety contantly.what shall i do?

Ok this is for all the perriod weapon ethusiastes, there is historical documentation the there have been matchlock and flintlock revolvers, from pistoles to carbines and well that got ne to thinking as to makking one in that particular style wheather it be pistole or carbine rifle. I know King Louis the XIII was given a Arcubus revolver carbine. These weapons did exist, what I wana do is find resource information on tgese classic beautifull weapons anything at all preferably in link form if that ios possible, if not then you can tell me where to go.
