Yes. Most mammals are colorblind, exluding humans and primates. Birds, fish , reptiles, etc. are not colorblind. Hence why you wear hunter orange during deer season and not for duck, geese, and turkey.

deer are colorblind. this is why you can get away with wearing the blaze orange hunting. what you want to do is break up your outline. you can accually wear a bright multi colored hawiaian shirt and do just fine. most states that have the blaze orange law only accually require you to wear it going to or from your hunting spot, for your safety. you can get away with wearing most anything as long as your outline is broken up.

Deer are believed to be mostly color blind. That is why you can wear hunters orange during rifle season. Their eyes are set farther back so they can see 310 degrees! Plus they have a very keen sense of smell

yes they are but they can see the diff between the orange vest and your camo. they can also see in the ultra Violet range there for if you wash your camo in household detergent it lights up like a spotlight to deer, they have washing detergent for this and also things that will get rid of the brighteners you can find them at the bass pro shop or cabala's your choice

i think all grazing mammals are colorblind, so thats a yes to deer, horses, cows, zebra, etc.
